“All types of sexual assault when drugs, alcohol or other intoxicants are deliberately given to the victim by the perpetrator” (Faugno et al., 2012, p. 1). Suspected DFSA may require additional drug and/or alcohol testing. Samples may need to be sent to crime laboratory for further testing, which is not typically available in most health care facilities.
